3D robot, state of the art technology<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is clear that when we pronounce the words\u00a03D robot,\u00a0<\/strong>unconsciously we are thinking of high end technology. While it is true that this sophisticated machinery is going to take over thousands of jobs, it is also very true that the world cannot stop, and companies that do not have an innovation mindset,\u00a0<\/strong>have an expiration date.<\/span><\/p>\n

We saw a new field of business open for our company when we decided to incorporate a 3D robot<\/strong> to manufacture forms at the end of 2015: manufacturing 3D figures without limits on sizes, something that very few companies could do.
\nHowever, all that glitters is not gold, the manufacturing process is expensive and specialist technicians are needed to handle the robot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  1. To manufacture of a 3D shape<\/strong>, it is necessary to start from a suitable original digitized by a 3d scanner<\/strong>, an apparatus that captures the shape and characteristics of any type of volume or environment, and which builds a three-dimensional model by means of specific software. we will not get the exact reproduction of our prototype with a single capture, so several scans from different positions will be necessary to obtain the maximum amount of information of the object.<\/li>\n
  2. The next step is to prepare \u201cstrategies\u201d<\/strong>, that is, give the robot instructions, how it has to decompose the piece, as can be seen in the video. Then, once the figure is sculpted, it is given a coating of polyurea<\/strong>, a synthetic polymer that hardens the prototyping material. This product is applied with a special gun, combining 2 components which dry very quickly.<\/li>\n
  3. The next phase is sanding the polyurea<\/strong>, polishing the defects and deformations in the model.<\/li>\n
  4. The coloring of the airbrush figure will give us a realistic finish, typical of figures from a wax museum.<\/li>\n
  5. . At the end of the process, we will give a layer of gloss varnish with UV protection<\/strong>, to give the exterior maximum durability.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
